Allan Parr: Boulder Attorney

Allan Parr focuses on helping businesses and associations succeed.  He does this by translating complex legal concepts, explaining the pros and cons of agreements, drafting advantageous contracts, sharing strategies to save resources, and aggressively negotiating or litigating when called for.

Experience

Just prior to co-founding the Business Management Law Group, Allan was a partner in a firm that handled a variety of civil matters.  He was lead counsel in cases against such firms as McDonalds, Cricket Communications, Taco Bell and Parks College.  Before that, he worked as a District Attorney in the 14th Judicial District of Colorado, where he chaired several jury trials and left with a winning trial record.  Before law school, Mr. Parr owned a successful restaurant in Boulder, and also worked in the marketing and sales departments of major pharmaceutical and credit information companies.

Education

Allan has Bachelor of Science degrees in both business and journalism and a Juris Doctor degree, all earned at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  While in law school, Allan was an Associate Editor of the Journal of Telecommunications & High Technology Law, and also served a coveted internship in the office of the Chairman of the Federal Communication Commission in Washington, D.C.  He is licensed to practice in the State of Colorado and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.

Personal

Originally from Northern California, Allan has lived in Boulder and worked in both Denver and Boulder for nearly twenty years.  He enjoys all of the beauty and opportunities for outdoor recreation that Colorado offers, but also tries to travel and write in his spare time.
